 April
meeting:
At the April meeting we took
a look at several ways to put your images online. Using Google's
Picasa not only offeres a free and easy way to upload photos,
it also makes finding images on a computer very easy. PhotoShop
has some automated ways to create slide shows, and Flash
also does a good job. Using PHP offers more possibilities, with
numerous free and customizable php scrips available.
Also a "thank
you" to Frank Scott for explaining how he uses Adobe Acrobat
to manipulate his images. (Member input at SIG meetings is very
much appreciated - it's all about sharing knowledge!)
Next meeting May 20, 2008
The May meeting subject will dive into some CSS. How to use
it for positioning and formatting, and dealing with browser differences
in the way they render CSS. Although confusing to learn at first,
it's essential for compliant and sound site construction.

subjects. Please join us in May!
