JOHN
F. STROINEY of Microsoft
will be the guest speaker at the next DACS general meeting on
April 4. The topic to be presented is The Everyday Web: Anytime,
Anywhere, Any Device. John will explore the next generation of
the Internet, which will enable everyone to take advantage of
the vast power of the Web. Consumers online and offline, anytime,
anywhere and from any device can access the Internet. The convenience
of the Everyday Web will make common activities such as shopping,
paying bills, and running errands much simpler. It will transform
the Internet from a rigid medium to a highly personalized place
where people share ideas and communicate with friends, family,
and workplace. John will also share with us prominent features
of Microsoft Network,
investigating MSN, MSN
Web communities, MSN
eShop, MSN
Money Central, MSN Mobile, FrontPage 2000, and WebTV.
To learn how to make the Everyday
Web work for you, come to the Danbury
