AT OUR NEXT GENERAL MEETING, the Danbury
Area Computer Society will offer a presentation from "the
other" chipmaker. Advanced
Micro Devices (AMD) is a company with 30 years of experience
in designing and manufacturing microprocessors. The presentation
will include a corporate overview of the company, its current
competitive landscape, and a description of its product lines
with an emphasis on the Athlon. Take advantage of the opportunity

processors and how they are being used in many arenas: business,

AMD processors' are available for a wide range of applications--from
